Unfortunatly we are under exams, final exams at Politecnico here in Milan. But, in some way there are always exeptions for “inspections”, also in working periods. Here you got the video made by two of us, who joined the checkinarchitecture.com opportunity to go to Geneva and know “L’usine”, a kind of social, interacion venue. A place really unespected for the formal swiss city.

Sometimes we go to our friends home and find those 3 “mute” guys interacting nervously with their computers. You stay there, you try to talk to someone but everybody is so concentarted that don’t eaven understand there’s a friend inside. Normally we just go back. But the last time it happened we wanted to go more deep on this foolishness. Those guys were all the time playing (or living) on one of those parallel realties. What the hell! They have a second life. We don’t know how much this kind of craziness could be healtly but for sure is something that interest a lot of people. Here we got the transposition of our passion in this thing. What do you think of think of this phenomena?

The Serpentine Pavilion 2006 was co-designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas and innovative structural designer Cecil Balmond. It is an example of the result that a good interaction beetween Architects and Engineers can offer. Next week, on 17th December, at the Politecnico of Milan, we got a conference by Arup, the office of engineers that makes the Oma Dreams reality.

going on the oriental effect, after the conference by Kengo Kuma here in Milan, we introduce you an amazing YT video on this project by Steven Holl for the city of Beijing. The Mimo experience we are trying to promove is something that requires passion, curiosity, so much efforts. In the meanwhile is a thing we can do today thanks to the tecnology. The really easy access we have to the instruments we use to do this helps our motivation to increase.But there’s a tool, in particular, that we really would like to promove. It is a Multimedia player. The videos we are producing can stay into it, in its large memory and, most important, the videos are produced with it. There’s an extension called Helmet Camcorder, really small, which has generated the Prague and Rochamp videos you’ve seen.
